projects

Projects.

Studio Hovinga’s projects move where art, ecology, and activism meet. Shifting from one field to another or blending them.
“Many selfs in a harmony of contrast”

Each project is a living dialogue, an attempt to see, feel, and act differently in a world under pressure, in a world disconnected.

Studio Hovinga explores how perception can become resistance, how beauty can carry responsibility, how taste can reconnect, how art can speak for what is silenced, how landscaping can help tackle biodiversity loss.

Nomadic by nature, Studio Hovinga works through collaboration and exchange, weaving connections between disciplines and communities. Every project seeks transformation to reawaken our senses, to question what we take for granted, and to remind us that change begins with attention.

Amsterdam 750 2025

connection through imagination

A city’s future is shaped not by plans alone but by shared imagination. Rooted in Amsterdam 750, this work explores how collective imagination can shape the city’s future, transforming private reflections into public art, and art into shared living vision.
